​Provide locum ICU and critical care support to academic and private veterinary clinics, filling critical staffing needs during employee leave or short-staffed periods on 2-3 week rotations. Collaborate closely with in-house specialists, technicians, and support staff to deliver high-quality inpatient care. Mentor and train students, interns, and residents, supporting their development in clinical skills and critical case management.
Staff Criticalist, Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center, Honolulu, Hawaii
Established a Critical Care Service in a multi-specialty referral center. Revised SOPs for patient care and trained technical staff on advanced critical care skills such as placement of jugular catheter. Managed hospitalized patients and received emergency cases as needed. Collaborated with other services to provide optimal patient care.
